This business about some hidden scandal is probably utter nonsense.  But that
is the problem if you try to be respectable.  The easiest way to attack you
is to claim some hidden skeleton bouncing in your closet but never saying
what it is.
Now, if Bing had lived an openly scandalous life, he wouldn't have this
problem.  Virtue, in the end, carries its own punishment.
