CELLULAR PHONES AND BRAIN TUMORS?
A $27 million study performed by Wireless Technology Research
and funded by the cellular phone industry has suggested that
there is a correlation between cell phone emissions and a
higher incidence of humor brain tumors, cell growth in human
blood micronuclei and DNA breakage in rats. The possibility
that radio frequencies might cause genetic damage has been
rumored for some time, but the study's findings have spurred
calls for coordinated public health action. The conclusions
parallel those of studies done regarding the damage caused by
microwave emissions, which are near cell phones on the radio
