Found an interesting story recently:

"PhyCor (a physician practice management company) quietly filed a libel
lawsuit last year to unmask up to 50 "john does" who had
pseudononymously posted critical remarks about the firm on a Yahoo Web
site investor message board. PhyCor's strategy is aggressive,
intimidating, and-as some physicians and others found out when they
received news of subpoenas- quite legal. "
