     Yes...for stat comparison to the U.S. as a test of the
effectiveness of gun laws we would need to find or combine areas which
are demographically matched with Singapore...quite a task

     Many relatively homogenous areas have little if any crimne from
within...the key for nations like Singapore is what they would do if
China invaded...depend on US?  They would be better off for the long
term having a citizenry militia state as was originally set up in the
USA.
