Yes, I believe that there is such a thing as objective reality. But I also
believe that human beings can't perceive it. You're implying that my view of
unselfishness ought to be objective, and I'm saying I don't think it can be.
Furthermore, I'm saying that it's extremely difficult to discern when
someone does something out of purely selfless motives. There's most usually
a sense of satisfaction, unless one has managed to become very, very detached.
