Hello!
a>Reincarnation was rejected as Christian doctrine after The Council of
a>Constantinople even though some of the Father's of the Church, ie. Clemens
a>Alexandrinus, had argued in it's favour. It was rejected, not because it
a>wasn't useful but because it was totally counter to the basic thrust of
a>Church Doctrine cum propaganda.
This is an "exoterical" point of view, - view of this story
>from physical plane. But some rosencruicians say that this decision
was inspired by higher forces in order to speed up evolution.
People who believe that they live only 1 life move and work faster,
trying access all possible in 1 life.
Experiense of eastern countries showed that doctrine of reincarnation
& karma was "too esoterical" and being casted to people was misunderstood,
so eastern people became passive fatalists, they say.
Exactly as concepcion of root races was misunderstood by contemporary
people.
