TSA Election Voting Tally Update

Hi:
Here is an update on the election voting tally. The following
letter was received by me and it was mailed in response to my
two FAX messages of May 16, 1996. The response was mailed to me
from Wheaton, IL by Snail mail and so it took days to reach me.
In the very early hours of today, I FAXED a four page detailed
response to John Algeo, explaining that (1) I do not want any
personal courtesy and (2) under the current statutes of IL, I as
a member in good standing, have full access to the voting tally
*now* and (3) I would not agree to any restriction or condition
as to the use or distribution of the information as such
conditions or restrictions are unnecessary because the IL
statutes allow members in good standing to access any and all
records for any purpose. The detailed letter is in a separate
post.
As of this writing, I am yet to receive receive a response from
John Algeo.

Dear Mr. Ramadoss:
Our bylaws state that "the results of the election shall be
certified by the National President and the National Secretary,
whose certificate shall be published in the next issue of the
official members' magazine." We are in the process of doing
that, and the certification will so appear. I know of no other
requirement that is "time-sensitive" with respect to the
reporting of the results.
In view of the bylaw requirement for publishing the results
of the election, I think it inappropriate to publish those
results in other ways before they appear in the official
members' magazine. If you are personally curious about the
results for some particular post, we will give you that
information as a matter of personal courtesy, under the
condition that you do not publish it electronically or in any
other way until the official notice has appeared.
Sincerely yours,
John Algeo
National President
