Doss -

Individuals are regularly singled out in our public forum and asked for
explanations about all sorts of things. My requests in this regard have
always been made politely, and the opportunity to reply privately is
always available. Even a *polite* response to the effect that you would
prefer not to explain, addressed to me (who asked) would have been
acceptable. What is written below reads as intentionally hostile, and
inasmuch as the questioner is *ignored* is bad manners, to say the
least. I am very disappointed to read such responses from someone who
regularly preaches "brotherhood" while declining to respond directly to
a sincere question from another brother.

Recent comments about "netiquette" have singled out mine and others'
"one-liners". As this question is also topical, may I request
(politely) that you cease from cross-posting long messages to the
different lists - I sometimes get identical postings three ways from
you, as I am sure do others. This uses more bandwidth than a fistful of
one-liners. I have nade this request of you before, also. Again, my
request has neither been replied to nor acknowledged.

No "brotherhood" here.

Alan.
