Dear Marek

I believe you that the women who've had abortions never stop
crying, ...but long time ago, I had a colleague whose father was
a very orthodox Rabbi.  She got pregnant without being married.
If she hadn't gotten an abortion, (and it was a horrible illegal
one at the time) her whole life would have been ruined.  Her
family would have literally disowned her & etc.  That would have
been lots worse for her than grieving for the baby she didn't
carry to term.

It's not that cut & dried.
