Sacrifice

Annie Besant occassionally came up with some very
interesting ideas. In one of her books she discusses
at some length this idea, crediting it to what she calls
"sacrifice" and that the whole world is based on the
sacrifice of life in order to sustain life. Its a good read
if you have it or can get it.
