Public Internet access facilities -- referred to as "Internet kiosks,"
"Cyberbooths" or "NetStations" -- are bringing relatively inexpensive Internet
access, e-mail, news, stock quotes and Web browsing out of the office and into
public spaces, especially airports. Most providers of Internet access in
airports refer to their services as "communication booths" or "kiosks of the
future," offering a combination of high-speed Internet access and a
browser-style interface.
