Exactly right. 'Initiations' are also 'new beginnings' and not
necessarily singular events taking place on a specific occasion, but may
be the culmination of a process lasting some considerable time. In any
event, the student who is initiated (has his or her consciousness
*permanently* enhanced) would by implication and by definition have to
be fully conscious of the fact of it. Such 'Initiation' is an awakening
to a newer and 'higher' level of experience which the becomes part of
that person's regular equipment.
