Alan, please be careful.  You are starting to sound like me!  Asking
for sources and citations?  Asking  for "backup" info  to support a claim?

I think I remember that  Alexis said in a  response to Jerry HE that his
book would NOT
have footnotes, endnotes, etc. etc.
