Please excuse my jumping in here, but having recently had my arthritis
go from bad to awful, I can vouch for the probability that if all the
remedies that have been suggested to me in the last few months were of
anything other than symptomatic and temporary relief, then I and my
mother would be dancing around like five year olds, and no one would
know what the word arthritis meant. My Doc gives me pills - they work
as well as anything else. Mind you, if I were to dance naked three
times round Chuck at 3 am on the eve of the summer solstice - well, that
would probably do nothing for anyone. :-)

Alan.
