I too wondered about copyright. One cannot establish copyright
on a reprint of material in the public domain. The TUP edition
of the MLs has no copyright notice. The death of the author
issue is somewhat tricky with these letters. But in general
the Philippines TS could not copyright by international
publishing law, but their national laws could allow or even
automatically apply copyright of some form.
