Whoah!  Assuming that some form of "creation" occurs, may it not be that
this process looked at Neanderthal Man and thought that it was good?
Why should apes be a "failed experiemnt" any more than turkeys or
rabbits?  If there is a deity, maybe she likes apes, turkeys, and
rabbits?  On the evidence to date, a case could seriously be made that
we ourselves are a "failed" experiment.  But this begs the question -
who or what is doing the experimenting?
