Yes. Yes. A thousand times Yes. As ornate, detailed, and expensive as a
lamp is, it is still nothing but a lump of dead metal if its not plugged
into a current. And curiously enough, in the spiritual world, it seems
that as a general rule the complexity of the lamp's design varies
inversely with its proximity to the current.
